Mary Yeager continues in her fourth year with us here at EED and will be teaching Beg./Interm. Jazz and Adult Tap.
Jaime Thompson holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from The Boston Conservatory. Ms. Thompson danced with Laura Ward/ Octavia Cup Dance Theatre, a contemporary dance company based in Manhattan. She attended the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet's Teacher Workshop in Carlisle, PA. Ms. Thompson has also taught at such schools as Ballet Academy East in Manhattan and The Lighthouse Dance Project in Wainscott. We are thrilled to have her on staff here at EED teaching Intro. to dance, Ballet, Tap and Jazz all ages!
Linni Deihl, ADTR,MED,LCAT is a former member of the New York City Ballet Company trained at the school of American Ballet by George Balanchine, danced with Martha Graham's company and trained with Martha. She has been a pied piper of dance education on the East End of Long Island, having taught at Westhampton Beach High School, and various other elementary and middle schools. Linni also has a dance movement therapy practice specializing in stress related problems, is published widely, and trains and supervises dance movement therapy students. She was recognized by the American Dance Therapy Association for her dance movement therapy by honoring her as the 2007 "Execllence in Education Award". She also teaches Laban Effort/Shape movement analysis and directs a youth Liturgical dance group. Linni will be teaching teen ballet and adult ballet this year.
Stephanie Eberhard is a certified teacher of Theatre and English Adolescence Education. During the day she teaches various English classes at Bayport-Blue Point High School and is thrilled to teach Acting classes at night for East End Dance. Stephanie has experience in all aspects of theatre from a young age in acting classes as a student, to college, and Off-Off Broadway. Facets of her theatrical work include: directing, acting, stage management, makeup design, props design as well as administration such as president of a performing arts company and box office clerk. With this well-rounded knowledge, she is able to impart a distinctively realistic and creative education to students of all levels.
V. Geraldine Bishop Teaches Hip-Hop, Jazz and Latin Jazz classes. She is schooled in Argentine Tango, Broadway Jazz, has taken Graham Technique from teachers at the Julliard School. Her Ballet career was in "Escuela de Ballet Reginato" Tucuman, Argentina. We are happy to have her on board at E.E.D!
